I'm Still Here: Goings-on in Berlin and Further Afield

It's been over three months since I updated this blog. 

I'm not sure why -- it's not like I haven't been going to new places, having new adventures, or taking pictures. Nor is it that I have been too busy to write. I've just been in a sort of writing funk... 

But one of my New Year's resolutions is to write more and actually keep up with this blog, so here goes!

What have I been up to since November?

• Submitted an application for graduate school.
• Went hiking in the Grunewald twice (and saw a family of wild boars!).

• Visited multiple Christmas markets.

• Visited the Bröhan Museum (a museum that focuses on early 20th century art and design). 
• Ate at an amazing ramen restaurant with some friends.
• Drank beers at an American-style craft brewery.
• Become very familiar with Treptower Park and started walking there regularly.
• Saw Star Wars: Rogue One!!!
• Spent Christmas in Mainz with Adrian's family.

• Explored Oppenheim and toured the tunnels running underneath the city.

Twice!

• Watched fireworks on New Year's from a third story balcony.
• Attended the wedding of one of my best friends.
• Started German lessons.
• Attended the Women's March on Washington in Berlin.

I'm going to try to write a post or two about several of those experiences, but who knows if that will actually come to fruition. Hopefully writing them all here will hold me accountable and I will tell you the tales of my adventures.
